Version 7.4 of PHP, released in November of last year, is the last point release for version 7 with the next major release being version 8 due later this year. This session will take a brief look back at the performance improvements and functional changes brought to the language in version7.x before looking ahead to what we can all expect to benefit from in version 8.

The session will also take a look at changes in the Framework and Middleware space as well as both functional and licensing changes for Zend Server. Finally, the availability of community PHP will also be discussed.
